Above, is a BEFORE picture of the typical set of woodwork we get in for restoraion from Vantage / Volente owners. The ravages of time and exposure are evident. If you look carefully, you can see that there are panels with distinctly different colors which indicates that this vehicle was probably parked facing the same direction for years and various parts have had more exposure to the sun, than others. |

Although this set is from a different car, you can see how the restoration process exposes the original color, and the beautiful contrasts of the original wood grain pattern. Below is a full set from a 1952 Aston Martin Lagonda. It came to us in “basketcase” condition - The veneer was blistering and peeling off, the finish had seen its’ last days and was non-existent on many parts, and the wooden substructure was cracked and broken. All indications were that it had been poorly restored at least one time before. We Repaired and Rebuilt the substructures where necessary, and Reveneered and Refinished the entire set. Our customer was ecstatic ! |

Faded and cloudy finish on console. The ashtray lid has faded, but the finish did not get cloudy. |
The finish on both of these parts turned a very cloudy / milky color and is no longer clear. |
