1973 - 75 JENSEN-HEALEY MARK II |
|
We manufacture all of the wood components, however, you will need to send us your stock metal Ashtray panel, so that we can re-veneer it to match your new parts. |
|
The picture above, is our 5pc set in Burled Walnut. (customer supplies metal ashtray panel for us to Reveneer)

The cut-out for the clock can be done in either the small panel that is just to the right of the steering wheel, or in the Glove Compartment Door, or it can be omitted if you wish. We do not machine the clock cut-out, until we know where you want your clock cut-out....either in the small trim panel or in the Glove Box Door. There are occassions where our customers want us to omit the clock cutout and we are glad we could accomodate.

Our Glove Box Door Replaces the stock plastic part, utilizing the stock lock mechanism.

Here you can see the difference between the stock Radio/Tempurature control panel and the panel that we make that
Replaces the Stock Tin Panel.

Normally we cut out the stock radio opening, but if you have a DINN mount radio,
just provide us your DINN mount cage & we can cut out that style of opening for you.
(custom machining charges apply)

Note: You will need to send us your stock metal Ashtray panel, so that we can re-veneer it to match your new parts. |

1976 JENSEN GT |
| |
Below are pictures of the stock woodwork in a Jensen GT |

Jensen GT |

|
|
The "orangish-red / rust color" of this stock Jensen GT dash, is very typical of the color that Burled Walnut changes to over the years. Many people think it was supposed to be that color, but it has just bleached out, faded and changed color over the years. It was originally medium / dark brown.
If your substate is in good shape, and if your veneer is in good shape, we can Refinish your set. Otherwise, we can Reveneer and Refinish it for you. We can even change the wood type if you wish.
Or, if your woodwork is in really poor condition, we can manufacture you a brand new set...See Below.
|
|
This Jensen GT dashboard came to us in extremely poor condition. Not only was the clear finish cracked, but the veneer was cracked and flaking off and completely missing. Additionally, the layers of the substrate were delaminating. But the good news was that we have the necessary Jigs, Fixtures and Tooling to make new ones.

Here is a picture of the OEM Replacement Dashboard set we manufactured for the aforementioned customer. They chose Carpathain Elm Burl even though the original dash was Burled Walnut. They also had us change the size of the tempurature control opening to accomodate a VintageAir control module and had us machine the radio cutout to accept a DINN mount radio. Custom work costs a bit more, but because it is YOUR car, it's worth every penny.

|
|
Keep in mind that we can do what it takes to get the woodwork in your Jensen GT looking showroom new - Refinishing, Reveneering or you can order a brand new OEM Replacement.

|
The paint is done....the interior is done....the woodwork is looking "showroom new".....Life is Good !!!
Below is the stock woodwork. Notice how bleached out and faded it is. It has lost nearly all its contrast, and has turned almost yellow.
After Refinishing, the wood looks darker, and closer to the medium - dark brown that it was when new.

Above is the Stock set. You can see that the veneer has really faded in color. It has lost nearly all its contrast, and has turned almost yellow.
Below is a stock set that we Reveneered and Refinished, but veneer on this customers' console had severly delaminated, so to add character, they requested that we "bookmatch" the replacement veneer. The flash of the camera made that part look lighter than it really was. Even if your console was covered in vinyl, we can veneer the metal part.

|
This customer requested that we stain their woodwork a reddish color to help it complient the steering wheel and the cream colored interior. |
This customer decided to have us just Refinish the stock panels, and as you can see they really finish off the nicely restored interior. |
|
Below are pictures that may be of interest to you.
The parts and dashboard that look "new" are parts that we Reveneered and Refinished.
